Good job on getting the Hills and Prescott and others on Weds.
Quiet Thursday, a found property notification was all I had. Have a good evening Gentlemen, stay safe.

Information Sharing

Just a heads up, we all know how fast "the word" spreads in town. The information and videos that we find online doesn't do us any good if the suspects know we're watching. The people in these videos heard we were watching and removed several incriminating videos from their profiles. The other night I seen a dispatcher watching the videos. I know this stuff is out there for everyone to see but we shouldn't help people outside of LE family to find it because then it's of no use to us.

Warrants

The Hill brothers were pick up last night at room 128 Days Inn. Galvin Hill is held without bond and Eric Hill is 1,500.

Tiffany Prescot was also picked up a is held with out bond.

FYI the Hills told me last night that they are moving to lot 7 King St. on 12/30/10 (or when they get out of jail)

While talking to the Hills we heard that Tyreece Roane was trying to sell a PS2 on the streets. We Later found that the PS2 was stolen from the Hill boys room. (So we got 3 birds with one stone) Mr. Roane was picked up and charged with Grd Lar and is held without bond. Mr. Roane stated he sold the game station to buy drugs.

Wayne Mackey was picked up and served last night he is on PR bond

12/24/10 I placed Delontay Turner on a summons for trespassing on George Brook's property at lot 6. Mr. Turner began arguing about the about the police presents then went into the trailer at lot #5 before coming back outside to argue more. I figured Mr. Turner was welling to get his point across even if it meant going to jail over, but had something on him that he need to ditch.  I'm going to speak with Scott Katona about having Mr. Turner removed from the EMP.

Sylvester Tubbings lead me on a short police pursuit at 0300 which resulted in him going to Saluda for Christmas. Mr. Tubbings stated he was from the Tappahannock area, but I've never seen him before. He did a lot of since less rambling and had a couple of serious charges on his criminal history. These rambling continued during the drive south. Mr. Tubbings appears to be at the end of his rope and said we will read about him one day and questioned his faith.  Mr. Tubbings is a B/M 52yo (would remind you of Robert Golden) unemployed jack of all trades, no immediate family in the area, divorced, one 16yo son across the river but hasn't had contact with in years.  Anyways just something to look out for.

Lot 46 Davis St. has been a hotbed of activity this weekend, with guest such as Derrell Bundy, Lamarqus Finkly, Delontay Turner, Johnathan Harris

HI-POINT 45 ----- EARL JUNIOR ROSS, JR.

See REPORT 408-74-10

Earl Junior Ross, Jr. owns and is carrying within his vehicle a HI-POINT 45 Semi-Auto Handgun. The Serial Number is 461865.

I could not charge him with possession of a concealed handgun because it was not concealed by the time the vehicle was stopped. However, I believe he is keeping it under his front seat by the way he was moving in the vehicle prior to the stop.

He drives a white, 1997, Ford, Crown Victoria, 4 door, VA. License Plate XTM-2147.

I was able to charge him with possession of concealed brass / metal knuckles that were in his floor board right near the seat where I believe he moved the gun from.

JUSTIN WILLIAMS ARRESTED

Justin Williams was arrested last night on an outstanding warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was charged with under-age possession of alcohol after it was observed in plain view in his vehicle.

Posting

When writing a post, please make your Title either a name of the person or a place of interest so that the topic can be found easier. I changed a couple of your titles for easier reference.

William Roderick Tyler

William Roderick Tyler, B/M, DOB: 11-27-1993 has two nicknames; "SWIMP" and "ROD".

These nicknames were provided by his mother Viola Pollard. Viola is a dispatcher with E.C.S.O. She provided her contact information in the event that her son gets into any future trouble. She asked that we call her at ----- (804) 445-4611 Cell, (804) 925-6077 Home ----- if we have any run ins with him, Tyler, at all so she can deal with him at home.

Viola stated that she has had some difficulty dealing with him over the past few months since he began hanging out with
Trevon Littrelle Stewart, B/M, DOB: 04-08-1992.

These are two of the young people I dealt with at 1139 Derby Lane this past week.

NEIL NORTON ( SHEETZ)

Jones and I responded to Sheetz this morning at about 06:06 AM in reference to Neil Norton allegedly refusing to leave and ripping up magazines. There was no apparent property destroyed. Neil, did leave when ordered by police.

Neil obviously denied being asked to leave by Kepler earlier. However, Theresa Kepler the Manager on duty did verbally bar him from the property in my presence. I gave Lt. Johnson Norton's 27 info to take to Kepler so that she could obtain a stay off notice. The stay off notice should be on file shortly.
Fairly quiet last night. Not much to report other than I saw "tootsie" Boughton walking down Water Lane from Prince Street. I'm not sure where he's been but looks like he's back. Gray also will have a post in reference to Neal Norton and trespassing. That's all for now.

Wednesday & Thursday evenings

Nothing drastic happened the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday. A few minor calls and a couple of accidents. Nothing further....Have a good weekend everybody !!!

Frankie Vaughan

I made several phone calls tonight in reference to this subject. I was told by a GOOD
SOURCE that they are trying to get him to turn himself in within 24 hrs. Once they can convince him its best for him, he will give me a call.

marcus pitts

I was told on 12-6-10 that Marcus Pitts was one of the suspects in the Curvin Roy shooting.

Warrants were obtained for Marcus Pitts on 12-7-10

Marcus Pitts made contact with Investigator Hayes. Marcus will be coming into Sheriffs office tomorrow to see Investigator Hayes.

12/06/10

We made several phone calls as to the whereabouts of Frankie Lamot Vaughan Nelson without any luck. I attempted to call his cell phone, but there was no answer.

I revisited lot C13 again last night around 0130. Found that the side door was cracked open and the signs had been removed. Checked the trailer and found evidence that someone had been in the trailer between last Wednesday and today. I secured the trailer again and re-posted the red condemned signs.

Monday, December 6, 2010

It's Monday morning. Bah humbug. We still haven't found Frankie Vaughan. Hope to have him in custody before Tuesday morning.

We need everyone to use this blog site if it's going to be effective.

1139 DERBY LANE #28 --- Tanyard Town Homes

On December 5, 2010 at approximately 02:30 AM I was on patrol within the Town of Tappahannock, Virginia. I drove behind the Tanyard Town Homes located on Derby Lane. When I drove in behind 1139 Derby Lane, Apartment 28, I observed a small crowd of juveniles standing between the vehicles. Also, I observed a dark green, 2004, Chevrolet, four door, Virginia License Plate XWY-9136 occupied by three young females.

As I drove closer, I immediately recognized several juveniles from prior encounters. I parked and exited my patrol car to investigate curfew violations. Immediately I smelled a strong odor of burning marijuana and furtive movement by several of the persons that were standing. I identified the following individuals standing between the vehicles;

Thomas Larry Harvey, Jr., B/M, DOB: 02-14-1994

Damian Lee Holmes, B/M, DOB: 08-18-1994

Trevon Littrelle Stewart, B/M, DOB: 04-08-1992

These three individuals, listed above, were occupants of a vehicle I traffic stopped earlier in the week. A minute amount of marijuana residue was found in that vehicle. No charges were filed. Standing with them was;

Eboni Nichele Veney, B/F, DOB: 10-15-1990

William Roderick Tyler, B/M, DOB: 11-27-1993

Veney stated that she resided at 1139 #28 Derby Lane. Further, she pointed out where she had extinguished the marijuana cigar on the ground and destroyed it.

The dark green Chevrolet 4 door was registered to Sandra Ann Payne and was driven by;

Alexus Corinne Henry, B/F, DOB: 12-28-1991

Front passenger; Ebony Darnice Tunstall, B/F, DOB: 12-21-1993

Driver’s Side rear passenger; Brandy Shantell Tunstall, B/F, 07-18-1995

Harvey, Holmes, Stewart, Veney, and Tyler all consented to searches of their person. No other contraband was found. Veney, Stewart, and Henry were verbally warned about the possibility of being charged with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. I ordered all the subject’s to return to their respective residences. I further verbally warned them about the possibility of curfew violations.

Henry drove away with both Tunstal females. Harvey departed with one of the other juveniles in a teal green, Chevrolet S-10 pick-up, VA License Plate XPX-7245. That vehicle is registered to Mary Louise Harvey. The rest of the individuals entered the rear of Unit #’s 27 & 28.

WANTED PERSON

FRANKIE LAMOTA VAUGHAN, B/M, DOB: 05-20-1982, VA DL: T67-01-7684, SSN: 226-43-1293 is WANTED FOR; Brandishing a firearm, Threatening a witness, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Capt. Davis and Lt. Johnson handled the call today for the incident. In summary; Curvin Roy was threatened by the listed wanted subject.

Simple Possession of Marijuana Arrest

I stopped a red, 2008, Honda, Fit, 4 Door, VA. License Plate XKN-5562 for speeding and window tint being too dark at about 01:00 this AM. I have often seen this vehicle early in the AM coming north along 17. His car is very eye catching. The red is very bright against the dark tinted windows.

The driver, only occupant, was Hoyt R. Adickes, W/M, DOB: 06-21-1977, VA DL: T61-54-3737. He lives in Suffolk, VA. However, his company pays for him to live in Richmond County area while he is working here.

Adickes stated he is a long time marijuana smoker. I caught him with a personal use amount (1ST Offense). He states that he gets his marijuana from the beach. Further, he knows that his window tint is too dark. So, you have instant RS / PC for the stop. Just call me if you want to borrow my tint meter to stop the car. I doubt he will stop smoking marijuana any time soon.

Looks like the blog is working well. Let's keep up the effort and continue to work as a TEAM!

Try to gather as much info as possible on calls inside the ETP. We are gathering momentum to try to address quality of life issues. Particularly if you encounter anything similar to what was found @ C13.

12/2/10

Per department sent email, The trailer located at C-13 King St. has been condemned. At approximately 0230 Middleton and I checked the trailer and found Albert Smith (aka AJ) sleeping in the trailer using the oven as a heater. Mr. Smith stated he knew the property was going to be condemned, but had spoken to Mr. Sydnor about staying the night and was told that was "ok". Being that the trailer in not properly posted as condemned, I allowed Mr. Smith to gather his belongings and leave without a summons. Mr. Smith was told during this time not to return to the property. We attempted to secure the trailer, but was unable to due to the broken windows. Before leaving the trailer, we walked through each room and noticed inside one of the bedrooms was a bar of white soap, a box cutter and aluminum foil. It appears that someone is/was chipping at this bar of soap to make fake crack cocaine.

INFO FROM THIS PAST WEEK OR SO

First, I have been running into a lot of the ----- wanna be ----- marijuana recently. I have seen containers that have the names including "K2", "POSH", and also "SPICE". Several reliable sources have stated that these currently legal plant materials will get you high just like pot. However, there are side effects;

Monday night I dealt with a juvenile in the parking lot of Wal-Mart vomiting. He also had an accellerated heart rate. He admitted that he had been smoking "SPICE". He required medical attention at RTH. The doctor at RTH explained that the "SPICE" reacted with the "Aderrall" he was prescribed for ADHD. While this kid was lucky that he only got sick. The doctor stated that it could have killed him .

On a side note, this is a tobacco product that is being sold at the local tobacco store near SUBWAY. So, for juveniles it is still a status offense to possess it.

Tonight, I dealt with Mark L. Pierce, DOB: 12-28-1963, SSN: 231-92-7963. He was walking up toward the shelter area at the Marsh Street Pool / Recreation Center. He was drunk and attempting to urinate in public. I ordered him to leave and not urinate in public after showing him the No Trespassing Sign he had ignored. I was unable to post his photo. But, I'm sure you can view it on LINX.

Tuesday Nov 30

Fairly quite night, wind and rain started playing havoc on the alarm systems due to power surges. Noting major to report.
